We specialize in the development, design, and production of advanced multi-sensor unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) that collect aerial intelligence.

What We Do

Transforming decision-making processes through aerial data intelligence.

Quantum-Systems Inc. is more than just a drone manufacturer; we are an aerial data intelligence company that provides multi-sensor data collection products to government agencies and commercial enterprises. Our electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) systems boast industry-leading flight endurance, ease of operation, and reliability.

Customers in the public and private sectors alike use Quantum-Systems Inc.'s versatile UAS for defense, security, humanitarian, and geospatial operations. With a world-class team and nearly a decade of experience in drones, robotics and imagery collection, Quantum-Systems has a proven technology stack and a strong track record of building best-in-class UAS systems that provide mission-critical data to operators.

Quantum-Systems GmbH, the parent company of Quantum-Systems Inc., was founded by Florian Seibel in 2015 in Gilching, Germany several years after registering the patent for a vertically launchable unmanned transition aircraft. Since then, the company’s output and number of employees have continuously grown with triple-digit percentage growth year over year.

In 2022, Quantum-Systems Inc. opened its doors in Moorpark, CA as Quantum-Systems GmbH’s North American headquarters, serving defense and security customers throughout North and South America.

Our Future

Aerial data intelligence at your fingertips. Anytime. Anywhere.

Our vision is to fully automate data acquisition processes and to become the global leader in AI-powered real-time aerial surveillance. To achieve this, we are continuing to work on combining a great software solution with world-class hardware.

Bringing together fully automated software and hardware technologies will allow us to provide an end-to-end platform for acquiring data and will serve as the basis for sustainable decisions.

To build the next generation of products, we are investing heavily in software. That includes artificial intelligence, which will enhance our ability to provide situational awareness to our operators; edge computing, which facilitates real-time data processing onboard our UAS; and new elements in our mission planning software that allows operators to orchestrate complex operations with the click of a button.

Quantum-Systems Inc. is here to disrupt the aerial intelligence industry by bringing our best-in-class UAS platforms and software together. As a next step, we envision an emerging line of business centered around an automated network of drones where the customer will no longer own the hardware but will directly access the data required.

Our Patented eVTOL Technology

Learn more about our automatic transition systems

Our eVTOL fixed-wing sUAS combines the handling of a multi-rotor drone and the efficient aerodynamics of an airplane into one system.

“Tilt rotor transition aircraft” is what we call this innovative and patented category of drones. After a vertical take-off and reaching the desired transition altitude, the drone has a short phase of acceleration. During this transition phase, the rotors – driven by electric motors – swivel from the vertical take-off position to a horizontal flight position. The patent for this innovative swivel mechanism and the unique transition technology was granted in 2012.

No runway, catapult, parachute or extra equipment is needed for take-off or landing. The sUAS land smoothly on their shock absorbing landing gear that reduce impact, resulting in an extended product lifespan.
